Treesa’s Midwifery in Bali Blog is great. It’s wonderful to hear about the acupuncture clinic at the birth centre in Bali which I have posted about before.

Big Babies

Just 20 minutes after putting the call out for Big baby stories and resources I get sent this BRILLIANT link www.bigbaby.org.uk

What more can I say? It has everything on there that I would want to communicate to a woman who has been told she has a big baby! Including the inaccuracy of  growth scans,  recent research and homebirth and hospital birth stories.

One of the best resources I have come across in ages. I wish there was a website like that for everything!

Breech VBAC

On one of the forums I am on someone posted a brilliant website with this great article:

Question: ” Can I have a VBAC if my baby is breech?”

It’s  a great article on breech in general, not really specific to VBAC seeing as there isn’t really much of a difference.
But there is so much more on that website that you need to have a look at including all the GLORIA LEMAY articles…well just go there and have a look!

Save Private Midwifery

With national registration for Midwives in Australia coming into effect in July 2010, midwives in private practice will no longer be able to practice legally as they are currently unable to get indemnity insurance which will be a requirement of registration.

If you believe that women should have the CHOICE to birth where and how they wish, with a qualified and highly skilled birth attendant then please SIGN THIS PETITION and send the link to all your friends.
